The short answer is no, at present we don’t hire for video editors.

The longer answer is yes and no 🙂
While not a primary skill of a traditional graphic designer, there are a number of our design team that have video editing skills (especially within the social media team). So we do have a limited capacity to cover some video editing requirements. You are of course welcome to hire and train those skills into your new designer, we do also have access to training in this area to assist if required.

Yes, and we strongly recommend it. Though not a requirement as each designer comes with an email account, its far better if all your team are within your business domain.

Absolutely! Once they are apart of your team, you work with them as you would any other member of your team. If you want to setup phone or video calls do so as much as you desire. We place no restrictions on how deeply they integrate into your team. The more you include them in the better they understand your business!

Absolutely, and many do! We take zero fees or commission in the process, so whatever you want to send is exactly what your team member receives.

All of our designer placements come with a single license to either Affinity or Adobe so that they can get to work day one inside your business without any issues. Any other apps you require your team to use outside of those two are up to your discretion to provide.

Yes, like any normal employee they are entitled to holidays. We manage this process with your approval when requests come in. Each team member is entitled to 3 weeks leave annually.

For part-time employees, public holidays are localised to their country. If you take on a full-time employee, you have the option of localising their public holidays to your country, so it aligns with the rest of your team.

The freelancer side of what we offer is still currently be refined and will release shortly, it operates more like a traditional agency whereby we manage all projects you load, and assign the necessary team behind the scenes to complete your project.

We recommend using the same process you have inplace for your onsite employees. If you’ve never onboarded a team member before, or specifically not a remote one, we are happy to assist. We strongly advocate structuring the first week to focus on helping your new team understand what you do, and who you serve, along with introductions with other members of your team and how work flows in and out. Expect to setup video calls with them to help get to know you better.

We are also working on some video guides to help with this which will be due out shortly.

Typically speaking allow 7-14 days. This gives us time to schedule a call with you, work through options, organise any pre-hiring calls, sign contracts and start your onboarding. If you need a designer urgently it is possible to have one available and in your team within 24-48hrs. We do prefer more time but this is possible.
